THE Castries Football Council Youth Tournament continued at the Sab Sporting Facility with wins for Flow Lancers FC, Valley Soccer Academy and FC Pioneers.
In Under-12 action in Game 1, Flow Lancers FC had a 3-0 win over VSADC, with Riquelme Ashley, the prolific goal scorer, netting one of the 3 goals for his team.
In Game 2, FC Pioneers had no answer to Valley Soccer Academy as they were thrashed 8-0. Ethan Louisy and Rawson Harris scored two goals each to help secure all three points.
Matches in this category will continue on Saturday in the modified double round version of the league at the Sab Sporting Facility.
In the Under-16 category, FC Pioneers recorded a 3-0 victory over the determined VSADC team. Kidanny Joseph netted two of the 3 goals scored to prove his consistent form in this year’s tournament.
Meanwhile, Valley Soccer Academy had a hard-fought 3-2 win over their rivals, Massy Stores Boboville, in an intriguing match-up that went down to the wire.
