POLICE are dealing with three shooting incidents which occurred over the weekend leaving one man dead and three others wounded.
According to the lawmen two men who were seated in a parked pick up at Pigeon Point shortly after midnight Sunday were fired upon by an unknown assailant, injuring both.
Dead is 22 year old Matado Len Winter of Balata who succumbed to his injuries after being taken to Victoria Hospital.
The other man, Petrus Ford, 26, of Anse la Raye is in a stable condition in hospital after sustaining a single gunshot wound to his right upper arm.
In La Ressource, Vieux Fort, two masked men held up 53 year old Clifton Mathurin, operator of the Connections Bar shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday and robbed him of $300.
In the process, Mathurin received a gunshot wound to the right arm and was
transported to the St. Jude Hospital where he is in stable condition.
The third shooting incident occurred on Sunday around 11:30 a.m. on Chaussee Road, Castries.
According to the police, 20 year old Jaleel Hunte of Bisee, Castries sustained a single gunshot wound to the right buttock, allegedly perpetrated by an unknown individual.
He was transported to the Victoria Hospital where he is in stable condition.
