AS part of Digicel’s observance of Creole Heritage Month, Digicel has unveiled its new and exciting promotion to coincide with the international cultural observation for the month of October.
Dubbed as the ‘Lucian Creole Word Game’, the promotion which will run until October 25 will reward one lucky Digicel customer with the grand prize of an exhilarating Creole Day VIP Experience, when they simply text the word ‘KWEYOL’ to 7171.
The Creole Word Game aims to help increase and challenge participant’s knowledge of St. Lucia’s second language Creole through a very interactive platform. The Creole words range from animals to food, to household items, to occupations and other everyday things. For each request to the short code 7171, customers will receive a text message advising of the question for which to provide the correct English meaning of the Creole word provided. The Lucian Creole Word Game is opened to all Digicel customers both postpaid and prepaid.

Victor said the highest ranked customer at the end of the promotion on October 25 will walk away with the grand prize of an amazing Creole Day Tour experience. This includes $1,000 cash, a cooler with drinks and an islandwide trip to the different communities hosting Jounen Kweyol for themselves and ten of their friends.
Each text for the Lucian Creole Word Game costs only $1. Digicel also congratulated their September Text to win winner Miss Loyola Nicholas who walked away with $1,000 cash.
