The Department of Commerce, International Trade, Investment, Enterprise Development and Consumer Affairs continues its efforts to facilitate growth of the Micro and Small Enterprise (MSE) Sector in Saint Lucia through the Small Business Development Centre (SBDC) and the SBDC Network of Partners.
Visiting consultants from the Organisation of American States (OAS) and the University of Texas (San Antonio) will meet in Saint Lucia from Monday, September 26 to Thursday, September 29, at the Department’s Conference Room, 4th Floor, Heraldine Rock Building, Waterfront, Castries and also at the GAMA Learning Institute, Maurice Mason Avenue, L’Anse Road, Sans Souci, Castries.
The purposes of this visit are as follows: 1. to review the current operations of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Saint Lucia, 2. to engage stakeholders regarding a plan of action for Phase II of the SBDC programme, 3. consultation for the development of a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Policy in Saint Lucia, 4. to facilitate further capacity building for staff of the SBDC and Network Partners.
