EMPLOYEES of the Land Registry are expected to return to a much improved working environment next Wednesday, after a brief suspension of operations to facilitate maintenance and remedial works at the offices.
A statement from the Prime Minister’s office announced that the date for the resumption of services had been pushed back from yesterday after H&L Environmental Services, which is undertaking the work, reported that they had underestimated the time required to clean the vault and the documents stored in the Registry.
The statement said the works being undertaken are expected to significantly curb the threat of mould infestation at the Land Registry, located on the ground floor of the Greaham Louisy Building.
