SCORES of children are getting their last dose of fun this weekend before the reopening of schools on Monday.
Flow is hosting its annual Back-to-School Fair to provide assistance to students and parents ahead of the reopening of schools. The fair started yesterday at Derek Walcott Square and concludes today outside the Flow Exchange on New Dock Road in Vieux Fort
This major community event’s focal point is a health and wellness zone designed to offer free dental check-ups and eye examinations to the children, organized in partnership with Dr. Naomi Michelle from Every Day Smiles and the St. Lucia Blind Welfare Association.
In addition, the boys are receiving free haircuts and the girls hair braiding, and there are also complimentary school supplies available. A wide variety of entertainment is thrown into the package, including bouncing castles, face painting, gaming and much more, as an added treat. Special deals are available on Flow handsets and broadband packages.
“Getting children ready for the new school year is the main focus of our Back-to-School Fair,” said Flow St. Lucia Marketing and Communications Executive, ShermalynSidonie-John. “It’s designed as a one-stop shop for all back-to-school needs, and a place for families to come and enjoy some quality, fun entertainment. Every year we look at how we can help students meet this need and we leverage our partnerships to ensure that as many children as possible benefit from this event. Flow is a community-oriented family brand and one of our key missions is supporting education at all levels,” she added.
