THE St. Lucia Amateur Body building and Body Fitness Association, as part of its ongoing training programme has included a Judges Seminar on the calendar of activities for 2016.
According to Jacqueline Trim, President of the SLABAFA, coming to Saint Lucia will be the International Lecturer PawelFilleborn, Chairman of the IFBB Judges Committee, who has confirmed his availability to conduct the seminar on Wednesday.
Trim said, “This judge’s seminar will cover the mandatory seminar instructed for all the international judges and is held every three years. Having this seminar in Saint Lucia will benefit all our local body building judges, gyms, trainers, coaches and athletes, where the participants will receive an official IFBB Certificate”.
The SLABFA has invited each gym to sponsor one trainer who will benefit from this seminar, thereby enhancing the quality of athletes around the island.
An invitation from IFBB has also been extended to all 48 member federations from around Central America and Caribbean region to participate.
The seminar will include everything that Judges, participants and coaches should know about. (1) Most important rules in all IFFB disciplines and categories. (2) Competition order. (3) Competitors duties and behaviour on the stage. (4) Judges Duties. (5) Criteria based on which judges access competitors. (6) The most important differences between bodybuilding and classic body-building, Classic body-building and physique, women physique and body fitness, body fitness and bikini fitness.
