THE St. Lucia Football Association kicks off its FA Fantasy Inter-District Championship League qualifiers this weekend in three different communities around the island.
Like previous years the competition is sponsored by Windward and Leeward Brewery and will feature 8 teams which will be seeking qualification for the next level.
According to the SLFA the 16 teams registered teams will compete in the Round of 16 for the championship trophy. Soufriere won the Competition in 2015.
Today one game is scheduled for the Augier Playing Field featuring Laborie and Choiseul from 4:00 p.m.
Tomorrow, at the SAB Vigie Playing Field Canaries meets South Castries, while at the Desruisseaux Playing Field Mon Repos clashes with Desruisseaux. Both matches will kick off from 4:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, the action continues in the under – 15 Girls competition tomorrow in the Western Zone with one game at the SAB Sporting Facility; Anse la Raye will play Canaries from 1:30 p.m.
In the Southern Zone two matches will be played at the Augier Playing Field featuring Vieux Fort South and Soufriere from 2:30 p.m. and Choiseul and Laborie at 4:30 p.m.
