STUDENTS, staff members from the four participating schools and officials from the Ministry for Youth Development and Sports and the Ministry for Education will be on hand this afternoon to witness what has been dubbed history in the making.

When the final whistle is blown and the dust is settled a champion will be crowned in the Inter Secondary School Female Football Finals scheduled for the Sab Playing Field at Vigie.

The excitement will kick off from 1:30 p.m. for the third place silverware between Leon Hess Comprehensive and Micoud Secondary, while from 2:30 p.m. in the grand final the atmosphere is expected to rise a few notches on the square when Sir Ira Simmons Secondary and Soufriere Secondary battle for the first time holders of the championship trophy.

In the semi final round, Soufriere Comprehensive handed Leon Hess Comprehensive their first loss in the tournament, while Sir Ira Simmons continued their unbeaten run by defeating one of the tournament favourite’s Micoud Secondary.
