ARMED robberies continue to plague the country as evidenced when three masked men stormed the Morne Bakery brandishing what eyewitnesses say were guns.
The robbery, which was captured on CCTV saw one of the masked men covering the front of the business while the others rushed to the back emerging minutes later with cash tightly clutched in their fists. The men made good their escape on board a waiting car
Later in that week,Thursday, bandits hit Ti J’s Ultra Supermarket in Marchand, Castries. Like the previous incident no one was injured. However this time around there were two masked individuals with one brandishing a firearm.
The business establishment was robbed of just over $200 in cash according to sources. Reports are that the bandits ripped off the tray in the cash register and made good their escape.
