PRESS RELEASE – Tens of thousands of Saint Lucians were able to stay up after midnight last Saturday to witness the penultimate day of the Commonwealth Games from Gold Coast Queensland, Australia, live on Flow Sports.
It proved to be an historic morning for Saint Lucia, as the island got a gold medal at this meet for the first time ever.
In recognition of that achievement, Flow Saint Lucia this week renewed its relationship with Commonwealth Games women’s High Jump champion, Levern Donaline Spencer.
The undisputed Caribbean high jump queen, the 33-year-old from Cacao, Babonneau has been a Flow brand ambassador since 2009.
Prior to her commercial association with the company, she was a Cable & Wireless Scholarship recipient in 2002, whilst she was a student at Sir Arthur Lewis Community College.
On Friday, at the Flow corporate headquarters in Corinth, Gros Islet, Levern was presented with a bouquet by marketing lead, McClaude Emmanuel.
As befits a world class athlete, she also was gifted a top of the line Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone.
Over the coming year, Levern, her family and management team will receive cash considerations and a full suite of telecommunications products and services, to better enable them to provide the nation’s champion with the support she needs as she represents Saint Lucia on the world stage.
