THE Department of External Affairs in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), will be hosting a two-day training workshop on the International Human Rights System on April 3 and 4.
The International Human Rights System was developed and strengthened through the work of the United Nations and as a member State, Saint Lucia’s active participation within this system is paramount.
The aim of the workshop is to enhance national awareness among both public and private agencies in Saint Lucia, regarding the International Human Rights System and further inform of the role that agencies and their constituents play within this system.
The workshop will take place at the Finance Administrative Centre located in Pointe Seraphine, Castries.
