PRESS RELEASE – THE Interim Steering Committee of the St. Lucia Human Resource Management Association invites existing and aspiring human resource professionals to a general meeting to pave the way for the launch of the Association later this year.
Other professionals whose work is affiliated with the field of human resource management, or who provide services that are closely aligned to or dependent on human resource management standards and practices, are also invited to attend.
Communications Officer, Goretti Paul, said: “The success of the Association will be dependent on the commitment of its members and so we invite all HR professionals to register and be active members.”
This is the second consultation meeting and the Steering Committee will present the Draft Bye-laws for feedback, as well as discuss the next steps towards the Association’s official launch.
The Human Resource Management Association is a non-profit organization aimed at nurturing the development of St. Lucia’s human resources, by promoting the importance and value of effective Human Resource Management, defining standards and promoting ethical practices within the profession, among other objectives.
