DU BOULAY’S Bottling Company Ltd. (DBC) celebrates its 45th Anniversary of operations in St. Lucia this month.
The company, which was formed by four brothers Dunstan, Tony, Leslie and Frank Du Boulay, began operations in 1972 with a modest production plant, one truck and twelve members of staff and is now the leading soft drinks manufacturer in St. Lucia and the OECS.
Said Dunstan Du Boulay, Director Du Boulay’s Company Ltd/Windward and Leeward Brewery Ltd. “We are all elated to be here to celebrate 45 years of successful operations in St. Lucia. What seemed as a dream from working in our father’s ice factory has evolved into a formidable business venture of which we are extremely proud. Over the years we have made major contributions to the social, cultural and economic development of St. Lucia while consistently improving our products, facilities and personnel. We are proud of our legacy and the achievements of the company and to ensure that we maintain our legacy and sustainability of the business, last year we merged with Windward and Leeward Brewery Ltd. (WLBL) thereby creating the largest total beverage manufacturer in St. Lucia and the Eastern Caribbean, which has further solidified our position in the regional beverage market”.
Over the years, the company has invested in technological advancements and efficient production equipment and implemented the strictest hygiene and food safety standards to safeguard the quality of beverages produced. Customer needs is also high on their priority list and they have redesigned and introduced new ranges and sizes of modern style packaging and improved their consumer response programme as well as an internal quality monitoring programmes.

DuBoulay’s Bottling and Windward and Leeward Brewery merged last year.
