RUBIS showed its appreciation for the taxi drivers of the St Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA) with a donation of EC$2,000 worth of RUBIS Gift Cards to fuel the Taxi Drivers’ Domino Competition, held on October 17, 2026.
This annual event brought together Hotel Association taxi drivers from across St Lucia for an evening of friendly competition, camaraderie, and entertainment, while recognising and celebrating their important contribution to St Lucia’s tourism industry.
RUBIS’ contribution boosted an already fun and exciting event that welcomed members of the taxi-driving community for friendly competition and bragging rights on the domino tables.
The donation of Ultra Tec fuel gift cards reflects RUBIS’ commitment to supporting initiatives that unite the community while acknowledging important contributions.
Assistant Accounts Executive, Tamika Celestin, said it was through such contributions that RUBIS reinforced its social responsibility commitment as much more than a fuel provider, and a valued partner in community development.
