As part of the ongoing celebrations for its 41st anniversary, the Saint Lucia Association of Retired Persons (SLARP) organized a day of fun at the Mindoo Phillip Park on Wednesday, 8th April, 2026.
from across the island participated in a day filled with energy, teamwork, and friendly competition. Teams were identified by coloured ribbons: red for Laborie/Vieux Fort, green for Castries/Babonneau, yellow for Micoud/Dennery, blue for Gros Islet, and pink for Soufriere/Choiseul.

The top awards went to Annette Moses-Alphose (Best Athlete), Bernice Reynolds Jn. Mitchell (Spirit of the Games), and Leonette Jn. Pierre (Best District Representative).
expressed appreciation to M. Motors, the local BMW Dealer, for sponsoring the event, the Trophy Centre for their support, and the management of the Mindoo Phillip Park for allowing the use of the venue. Special thanks were also extended to Ms. MaryAnn Martial for coordinating the field activities.

The association also recognized the men in attendance and encouraged greater male participation in future events.
The anniversary activities will continue with a visit to Panama in June, a Variety Concert on 2nd August at the Cultural Centre, and a “Know Your Community” visit to Choiseul in September.
