Saint Lucia will be represented by 15 determined young women at the 2026 Jean Pierre Caribbean Youth Netball Tournament, hosted in Trinidad and Tobago from April 11th to 17th.
The tournament tips off today ( Saturday), with a dazzling opening ceremony at 3:00 p.m., followed by four thrilling matches. Saint Lucia is expected to launch their campaign this evening, setting the tone for an unforgettable week.
Team Saint Lucia’s squad is bursting with fresh talent, with 11 debutants stepping into the spotlight for the very first time.

Faith Leon (Soufriere Comprehensive), Malia Isidore (Choiseul Secondary), Caydiann Pierre (Castries Comprehensive Secondary), Iyana William (St. Joseph’s Convent), Catricia Esnard (Sir Ira Simmons Secondary), Indiana Jn Phillip (Soufriere Comprehensive), Tamia Clarke (St. Joseph’s Convent), Kenisha Biscette (St. Joseph’s Convent), Isabella Emilienne (Saint Lucia Sports Academy), Sanya Emmanuel (Soufriere Comprehensive), Xanaiia Emmanus (St. Joseph’s Convent).
Leading the charge are the seasoned campaigners: Naija Ferdinand (Captain – St. Joseph’s Convent), Linsey Auguste (Co-Captain – Castries Comprehensive Secondary), Nyssa Lascaris (Leon Hess Comprehensive), and Neriah Charlery (Vieux Fort Comprehensive).
Guiding this dynamic team is the technical trio: Shem Maxwell (Head Coach), Jo-Ann Anderson (Assistant Coach), and Alice Lynch (Team Manager).
The Stage is set. Eight nations: Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and host Trinidad and Tobago, will battle for regional supremacy.
Fans can also look forward to the Shooting Competition on Thursday, April 16, at 1:00 p.m., where precision and nerves of steel will be tested.
The grand finale comes on Friday, April 17, with the last set of matches, followed immediately by the awards and closing ceremony, a celebration of skill, spirit, and Caribbean pride.
With a squad brimming with youthful energy and guided by experienced leaders, Saint Lucia’s young netballers are not just participants; they are contenders.
