
The Island Champs Qualifiers 2026 came to an exhilarating conclusion at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground (DSCG) and the Saint Lucia Sports Academy (SLSA) National Stadium, showcasing remarkable performances and unforgettable moments.
On Wednesday, March 18, athletes earned their spots in the semifinal round, while schools across the island celebrated podium finishes that contributed crucial points leading up to the grand final on Sunday, March 22, also at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground.
From March 9-12 and March 16-17, 2026, junior athletes across the U14, U16, U18, and U20 divisions pushed their limits, thrilling supporters and coaches alike with displays of Saint Lucia’s outstanding track and field talent.
Every race, jump, and throw was steeped in anticipation, revealing the resilience and potential of a new generation of athletes.
