
Saint Lucia’s National Under-15 team departs today (Saturday) to compete in the CONCACAF Under-15 Boys tournament in Curacao, running from August 3.
The team is poised for a strong performance.
In preparation for the tournament, the squad has engaged in rigorous training under the leadership of Head Coach Francis “Baba” Lastic and Assistant Coach Hirum Hunte, along with a dedicated technical unit.
An 18-member team has been selected to compete in Group G, facing Grenada, French Guiana, and Martinique in a single round-robin format, with the winner advancing to the next round.
There are high expectations for the team, which recently participated in two friendly matches against St. Vincent & The Grenadines, winning one and losing the other.
Team Saint Lucia kicks off its campaign against Grenada on August 4, followed by matches against Martinique on August 5 and French Guiana on August 6.
The full squad is as follows:

– Defenders: David Sleiman Chreiki, Allarick Williams, Johnii Mathurin, Dervontae Agyemang, Mickel Mitchel, Jeliyon Maryat
– Midfielders: Shaquil Martelly, Nasri Alexander, Kevan Emanus, Jaylan Hippolyte, Leon Vidal, Eustace Solonius Blackstock, Sylves Castillo
– Strikers: Randal Monroe, Kai Stephan Russell, Gian Luke Blanchard

The 2025 Concacaf Boys’ U-15 Championship is set to kick off on August 2, featuring an impressive record of 38 Concacaf Member Associations along with one guest participant, bringing the total to 39 teams.
This marks the fifth edition of the Concacaf national team development competition, and all Member Associations affiliated with Concacaf are invited to compete.
In alignment with Concacaf’s memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and its partnership with the Saudi Arabian Football Association (SAFF), the SAFF’s U-15 national team will be a notable participant in this tournament.
The event will unfold from August 2 to 10, with the following stages clearly defined:
– Group Stage: August 2 to 7
– Knockout Stage: August 8 and 9
– Finals: August 9 for Leagues B and C, and August 10 for League A.
