In celebration of World Tourism Day, Bay Gardens Resorts has launched the Bay Gardens Community Fund, a dedicated initiative aimed at enhancing our role in community support, education, and development opportunities across Saint Lucia.
The Bay Gardens Community Fund is founded on three core pillars:
- Social, Environmental, and Economic Sustainability
- Inspiring and Educating the Next Generation
- Community and Cultural Preservation
As part of its launch, the Fund has already made a meaningful impact with two key events. On September 26th, 2024, Bay Gardens Resorts not only donated to the Be the Change Afterschool Programme at Babonneau Secondary School, but also contributed time by mentoring young men who are at-risk students. This was Bay Gardens Resorts’ second intervention with the program this year and was done in collaboration with local community leaders. The initiative supports the continued development of the students, providing both vital resources and personal guidance to enhance their educational experience. The cheque handover ceremony took place at the Ixora Conference Room at Bay Gardens Inn.
Additionally, Bay Gardens Resorts hosted its CPEA Scholarship Ceremony at the Bay Gardens Inn, recognizing the academic excellence of students whose parents are part of the Bay Gardens team. The scholarships celebrated the exceptional performance of these young scholars, reinforcing our commitment to empowering the next generation through education.

As much as we may think our individual contributions are small, they can make a profound difference in someone’s life. The impact we have-however small-can truly be life-changing.”
