The Sir Arthur Lewis Community College will host its 36th Graduation Exercises on Sunday December 4, 2022 at Royalton St. Lucia Resort.
The ceremony will be aired from 2 p.m. on the National Television Network (NTN), Calabash TV and streamed on the YouTube pages of the Government of St. Lucia and the College.
Approximately 200 students will participate in the ceremony. This is the first in person graduation since the start of the pandemic in 2020. Students were forced into the online modality for two years with some never having the opportunity to meet their peers or lecturers.
The Minister for Education, Honourable Shawn Edward, will serve as the guest speaker for this year’s graduation.
Ms Laricia Joseph, a graduand of the Agri-Business and Climate Smart Agriculture Unit has been chosen as valedictorian of the Class of 2022. Helen’s Daughters has awarded the top female Agriculture student with a prize that includes a “Women in Agriculture Award” along with a monetary contribution.
