I am pleased to share my thoughts on the Emancipation theme for 2022: Enkindling our Consciousness, first shared in my humble address at the activity that included the special event leading to unveiling of the portrait at the site for a Monument to Petronille in Dennery on July 31, 2022 – and now here…
When I ponder on the term consciousness, I do not think of flashy locks, listening to Reggae music, burning marijuana, using the majestic colours of Red, Gold and Green, or professing Black Power. Instead, I want to bring out a revolutionary twist to the term ‘consciousness’.
Consciousness, as it is, refers to the state of being awake and aware of one’s surroundings. My view of consciousness is the act of going deep within, into the silence, that “Silence”; to activate the Universe within to a kundalini awakening, thereby igniting our chakras and decalcifying your pineal glands. This has to be done on a personal level – individually — eventually leading us to rediscover Self: Who I am, who we are, and our ultimate purpose for trodding this earth.
Enkindling one’s consciousness is to set ablaze, arouse, reactivating one’s Spirituality; this means Death to the ego. This mission involves unlocking hidden talents, skills, visions and prophecies, thereby manifesting our ideal reality, creating our own narratives.
How can we attain this goal of enkindling our consciousness? We start small: recite daily affirmations, formulate yours to suit yourself to always say: “I AM”. Tell yourself who you are, remind yourself, put it all out there in the universe; proclaim who you are; stop allowing others to tell you who you are. Always say to yourself and everybody else: “I AM free, I AM light, I AM love, I AM a source.
Words are powerful, so let yours be self-fulfilling prophecies. Next, practice daily meditation (You can start with guided meditations); then; we go to organic eating and daily physical activity.
In our indigenous language: Ti negre ek’ ti Negress, asse’ martae’ fess-ou an lawi-a epi ale’ acoupi an bitasyon-an, acoupi an lakou-ou ek plante’ manje…’) Do breathing exercises, utilize fresh air, do more groundings with family and friends, brothers and sisters, spend more time with Nature rather than the virtual reality; and of course, always show love and let go of hate. Let us stop basking in hatred and resentment, continually reinventing the wheel of negative karma.
Brothers and Sisters, let us, to, with and through each other, nurture the Universal Language of Love.
We need to question things: The media, policies, our leaders, world leaders, international news, our education system, “HIS-story”, religion, Christianity, mandated health care services, advisories from international health organisations, the “Germ Theory’’, exposure and explanation of what “a virus” really is and of dis-eases — and even the very “language” I am using to commune to you right now, for these are the sectors of society which influence our thinking and our consciousness.
The answers to these questions will be the pinnacle process of the liberation of our minds. Having done this work individually, then as a collective we gain emancipation as a people.
In this time of the “pinnacle process of our liberation”, we come to the realisation that jobs in the system, the ‘customary way of living’, certain ideologies and beliefs – it’s all so boring, having one “confine” to a vicious cycle that does not serve the purpose of full-joying life in a way that is in synch with your own vibration and frequency. A vibration and frequency, innate and connected, to the universe, nature, the elements, our ‘ankhcestors’: that which helps one acquire freedom from within and without.
You feel this yearning to Exile in Nature and for others to experience that same vibration, for we are members of one body, so it is inevitable that we Re-Member (unite). Let us think of a new ideal, focus on creating and learning, rather than giving attention to distractions, entertainment, destructive technologies, regurgitated false ideologies, lies about our heritage and traditions, beliefs and foreign practices, that counteract our nature as an indigenous people.
It is no secret that the Alkebulan wombman possesses the god-gene, secrets and powers of the universe. So, by extension, we (man and wombman) are gods. So let us show these actions. Oh, wombman of Iyanola, it is time to change our perspective of things and bring-on the collective thinking, to bring about a collective enlightenment, thereby manifesting a revolutionary kundalini rising. The Ra-Star Wombman has been on that quest for a very long time.
Fathers, gentlemen, my brothers, my uncles, my Lords, my Kings, Ra-Star man, papa, daddy love: you are equally vital in this equation as co-creators in this movement.
Just bear with me this moment, as I commune with the mothers and children.
To this end, I proclaim the rise of the Divine Feminine. The time has come for balance. Let us take up our mantles and break their bonds asunder. Wombman of Iyanola: do expand your awareness, avoid being mentally drawn to this reality. I see some of you make small efforts in that regard. You rock your natural undyed hair, grow your natural locks; you talk about the increased need to use organic herbs; you have become entrepreneurs of businesses that promote “all natural”, you eat better, even spoke vehemently and questioningly about the credibility of “Rona”, wearing of masks, social distancing, accepting the three slices of the pie and the whole shebang.
During this time, some of you were “consumed” by all these “false evidence appearing real’’ (FEAR). You became even more docile; not just passively losing your rights but actively giving them up. Giving-up your very right to BREATH! Afraid to speak or act against this blatant form of slavery for fear of being arrested or losing your bread (job).
Wombman of Iyanola, how could you? Wombman of the Lion’s Den (Dennery), how dare you?! Where are my lionesses at? Do you not real eyes that slavery is normalised through unjust state laws and these dehumanising protocols?
I am grateful though for having had this dialogue with you, but is this sufficient, my sisters and mothers?
Wombman of Iyanola, you need to cut the umbilical cords of colonialism and that of religion. We are the ones bearing the children — and our children are the future, the future pillars of this Grand Rising in Powers.
The onus is on us. We need to create daily quality time for ourselves, go within the silence; “nou ka pale’ twope”. Let’s rise before the sun, reset our circadian clocks, so we can be more in tune with nature — and most pertinently, account for our children. Mothers, aunties, sisters and daughters, let us be a living testimony to our children. Let us begin to teach from home. As Ra-Star people we are revamping and demanding; the claim and necessity to home-school our children. Enkindling one’s consciousness begins from the womb (portal to life on earth) and by extension, in the home.
It truly means reform on all levels – like taking-in this speech as if it was coming through the voice of Petronille, from the Valley of Gold in The Lion’s Den, Dennnery!
