The Government of Saint Lucia’s official delegation will arrive in Dubai this weekend to attend Saint Lucia’s Independence Day celebrations at Expo 2020 Dubai. The Dubai government which has covered airfare and hotel accommodation for the delegation made their attendance at these activities possible.
Expo 2020 Dubai is a World Expo being hosted by Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. It offers close to 200 countries from across the world the chance to showcase themselves, create opportunities and collaborate. Saint Lucia is seizing the opportunity to do just that with a two-day schedule of Independence Day activities at Expo 2020 Dubai.
On Monday, February 21, 2022, Brand Saint Lucia (Export Saint Lucia, SLTA, Invest Saint Lucia &CIP) will host a full-day Business Forum that will position Saint Lucia as a prime country for investments. The business forum will highlight export-ready products available for new markets, tourism and investment opportunities and the option of becoming a citizen.
Attending this Business Forum are Hon. Ernest Hilaire: Lead of Delegation, Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture & Information, Hon. Emma Hippolyte: Minister for Commerce, Manufacturing, Business Development, Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs, Hon. Richard Frederick: Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for Housing and Local Government and Maundy Lewis: Press Secretary to the Prime Minister.
Given the fact that the Dubai Government is financing Air and Hotel accommodation for that one purpose, why do you three Government Ministers to attend, and most especially the one, Minister of Housing, what benefit is he to the delegation? Oh I get it, a free ride right? isn’t it amazing for some ministries, freeness for CDC tenant rent delinquents, freeness all the way, while crime is rising – don’t say that in Dubai please – I think that instead of all this Bluff and extravaganza we should instead spend some time cleaning up our act at home first, before going out inviting Investors to a crime ridden, Drug infested society, and who is better to handle that better than the prime Drug Lord himself who is banned from setting foot in the U.S. Father God find us a way to deal with that situation, we cannot depend on narcissist who only think of themselves and their friends, thank you Lord.
