Anticipation continues to mount for the 2026 Groovy & Power Soca Monarch competition as the semifinal lineup has now been determined. Following a highly competitive quarterfinal round, twenty (20) Groovy Soca and twenty (20) Power Soca entries have secured their places in the next stage of the contest.
The quarterfinals featured live performances from eighty (80) artistes, each evaluated by an adjudication panel against the competition’s established criteria. Following careful deliberation, the judges selected the performers who demonstrated the strongest overall presentations to advance to the semifinals.

The Groovy and Power Soca Monarch Semifinals will be held on Friday, June 26 and is geared to be a thrilling night of musical talent and culture. The show kicks off at 6:00 PM, and is open to the general public.
