All eyes are on the Soufriere Mini Stadium as the St. Lucia Semi Professional Football League (SPFL) will draw curtains on the 2025 edition of the tournament.

Defending champions La Clery proved once again that they were the best team in the preliminary rounds, finishing on 38 points only losing twice, drawing 5 times and boasting 11 wins. They scored 38 goals in their 18 matches and conceded 14 giving them an impressive goal difference of 24. Their two losses came against Canaries (3-0) early in the tournament and to Vieux Fort South (2-0) in November.
Vieux Fort South, the other team in the final, registered 33 points which featured 9 wins, 4 losses and 6 draws and a goal difference of 14 scoring 36 goals in the process. They will be looking to go unbeaten against La Clery after their win and a subsequent draw against the defending champions. They are the only team that is insistent on playing high pace football for 90 minutes. They won the second-tier last season and will be looking to record the remarkable feat of winning the top prize in their first season in the top tier.
While La Clery will be looking to the standout players, the likes of Uhann Degazon, Malik St. Prix and Mervin St. Romain, Vieux Fort will be depending on similar talent namely Saviola Elva, Moses Henry and Obafemi Poyotte, the leading goalscorer in the league. Jevick MacFarlane who scored in their last game, will not feature due to a red card in that semifinal.

It is safe to say the Soufriere Mini Stadium will be rocking with excitement Saturday evening.
