
Melanie Nicole Richard, known as MNR, has decisively won the Music Fest Sent Lisi 2025 Youth Star Contest.
This dynamic young vocalist captivated the audience at the PMG, securing the judges’ approval in a fiercely competitive showcase of artistic talent.
On December 20, the finalists showcased their skills at the Philip Marcellin Grounds in Vieux Fort, and MNR emerged victorious after a standout performance against nine other finalists across various musical genres.

Vince Joseph, aka Vic Nation, claimed second place, while Zidane Arthur, aka Zidane, finished in third.

The event featured electrifying performances from established Saint Lucian artists and a special guest appearance by the Dominican bouyon artist Reo.
The Youth Star Contest serves as a centerpiece of the event, determining the 2025 winner from finalists selected in November. These talented young artists showcased their skills in genres of their choice, including Jazz, Gospel, Dancehall, Reggae, Calypso, Soca, Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, Dennery Segment, and Afrobeats.
Young and emerging Saint Lucian artists, alongside international headliners, delivered captivating performances that energized and excited the audience in a family-friendly atmosphere. This event also provided a platform for interactive displays and the promotion of products and services.
According to the organizers, this dynamic event presents a prime opportunity for sponsors to connect with a vibrant and engaged audience, establishing themselves as key supporters of the arts and the community.
