Today (Wednesday), the SPFL tournament officially returns to the Francis “Baba” Lastic Grounds in Gros Islet after some intense matches at the Soufriere Mini Stadium {SMS}.

Last Saturday, the SMS was buzzing with excitement as the Super League – Tier 2 Grand Finale between Anse La Raye and VF North took place.
However, play was interrupted due to dangerous weather conditions. Players were forced to take evasive action as lightning and thunder erupted, leading to an immediate halt in the game.
Ultimately, the match was called off due to heavy rain, making conditions unsafe. Fans are strongly advised to keep hold of their ticket stubs, as they will remain valid for the rescheduled match.

In the third-place playoffs, the National U20s defeated Laborie 3-1, showcasing a dominant second-half performance to secure third place in the 2025 Super League.
A Goal from Under 20 Captain Eli Prospere in the 28th minute, in response to a 26th minute opening strike from Venton JnCharles, summed up the first half. Rhyim Montoute gave the Under 20s the lead in the 76th minute and Kyle Jn Baptiste put the icing on the cake with a beautiful lob over the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of play.
The youngsters finished their campaign on a high note, fueling their anticipation for next year’s Under 20 World Cup Qualifiers.
