Dennery and Soufriere secured decisive victories as the fourth round of matches in the SLFA Inc. Girls Under-15 League competition took place last Saturday, November 22, at the Desruisseaux Football Ground.
Faye Alphonse delivered an impressive performance, scoring two goals in the 26th and 50th minutes, leading Dennery to a dominant 2 – 0 win over Choiseul.
Meanwhile, Janai Prevost shone in Soufriere’s crushing 6 – 0 victory against Vieux Fort South, marking the second haul of the tournament. Janai scored in the 26th, 45th, 48th, and 55th minutes, while Kevlyn Fostin and Esther Phillip added to the scoreline with goals in the 57th and 63rd minutes, respectively.
In another important development, on November 15, the SLFA Inc. held a Financial Workshop for selected participants from the Football Leagues in the Western Zone.

This workshop, conducted at the SLFA Inc. Conference Room in La Clery, was an integral part of the SLFA Inc.’s commitment to promoting Good Governance within its leagues.
The activities underscored the significance of accountability within the SLFA Inc. Forward Programme, the primary source of funding distributed to the Football Leagues.
The workshop facilitator effectively guided representatives from Anse La Raye, Canaries, Roseau Valley, and South Castries. A representative from SLFA confirmed that the workshop was highly successful, reinforcing the organization’s dedication to strengthening governance in local football.
