Action Continues in SLFA Inc. Girls Under-15 League

The SLFA Inc. Girls Under-15 Football League continued on Saturday, November 15th, with three exciting matchups at the Canaries Playing Field.

In the opening game, Vieux Fort North & South combined and Anse La Raye played to a thrilling 2–2 draw. Paeton St. Rose opened the scoring for Vieux Fort in the 14th minute, with Marielle Descartes adding another in the 57th. Anse La Raye responded through Rayne Seraphine in the 15th minute and Lysan Seraphine in the 60th to secure the equalizer.

Desruisseaux delivered the day’s most dominant performance with a commanding 8–1 victory over Dennery. Kyla Lionel led the charge with an impressive four-goal haul in the 8th, 20th, 61st, and 65th minutes. Mikya Blanchard added a brace in the 13th and 28th, while Alyssia Jn. Pierre (41st) and Falonn Antoine (58th) also found the back of the net. Dennery’s lone goal came early from Trudy Joseph in the 4th minute.

In the final encounter of the day, Canaries came from a goalless first half to defeat Choiseul 3–1. Vanyah Flavius scored in the 42nd minute, followed by an own goal from Tamar Joseph in the 39th, and a final strike from Kayla Toussaint in the 68th minute. Kurtege Alfred scored Choiseul’s only goal in the 60th minute.

The Girls Under-15 League continues to showcase strong talent and competitive spirit as teams push forward in the tournament.
