The National Workers Union (NWU) has successfully secured renewed salary payments for clerical and technical workers at the National Insurance Property Development and Management Company Ltd. (NIPRO).
Employees will receive a nine percent (9%) general wage increase.
This new industrial agreement was negotiated by NIPRO management in collaboration with the leadership of the NWU.
The increase will take effect over a three (3) year period, structured as follows: 4% in the first year, 3% in the second year, and 2% in the third year.
Additionally, the agreement includes enhanced fringe benefits such as improvements in traveling and mileage allowances, expanded paternity leave, and a streamlined uniform distribution framework.
Upon the official execution of this industrial agreement, a back pay effective from January 1, 2025, will be distributed to all employees.
