
The second stage of the SLFA Inc. Under 12 Boys District League competition sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Development & Sports, National Lotteries Authority and ACADO kicked off last weekend.
The Saturday matches at the Technical Centre in Grande Riviere Dennery commenced with a consistent Gros Islet team edging out Vieux Fort South 3 – 1 in a keenly contested encounter.
The victors were led by Keemany Ferdinand with a brace in the 22nd and 55th min, after Aiden Augustin opened the scoring for Gros Islet in the 12th min.
Martin Joseph scored that game’s first goal, putting Vieux Fort South ahead in the 6th min.

In the other encounter Central Castries narrowly squeezed past Soufriere 1 – 0 with Kaiden Charlery scoring the winner in the 1st min of added time of the first half.
The action resumed on Sunday 20th July with three matches.
Anse La Raye defeated Dennery 4 – 0 with braces from Oneil Sonson 14th & 58th minutes and Mitchel Deterville 40th & 43rd minutes.

Mabouya valley also defeated Desruisseaux 4 – 0. They got their goals from Keevan Louisy, a brace in the 30th & 35th minutes, Lloyd Bernard 6th and Deshaun Leon 41st minute.
In the day’s final encounter, Roseau Valley and Mon Repos played to a goalless draw.
