Hailing from Desruisseaux in Micoud South and born in 1976, Dr. Harracksingh currently serves as the District Medical Officer for Region 4, which encompasses Desruisseaux, Ti-Rocher, Micoud, and Mon Repos.
She previously held a position at the Victoria Hospital in Castries, now known as the Betty Wells Urban Polyclinic. Dr. Harracksingh earned her medical degree from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, and has significant experience from her tenure at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados.
Additionally, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the Royal Holloway University in London.
In its official statement, the SLP expresses gratitude to the other candidates in the selection process for Micoud South—Messrs. Calus Moncherry and Gregory St. Ange—for their dedication to both the party and the community.
