
Corinth Secondary School (CSS) secured a hard-fought 10-run victory over Soufriere Comprehensive Secondary School (SCSS) to advance to the Finals of the 2025 Ministry of Youth Development and Sports Schools Under -15, 40 Over Cricket Tournament.
In a match reduced to 23 overs per side due to rain interruptions, CSS set a challenging target, scoring 127 for 9 in their innings.
Peter Murray led the charge with a defiant 29 not out, backed by Nicken Justin with 17, Jasha Louis with 14, and Jeovannie Eugene contributing 10.
SCSS attempted a strong reply but fell short, finishing with 117 for 9 in their allotted overs. Curdin Jones top-scored with 28, while Elearan Cazaybon added 20, and Chaz Alexander chipped in with 10.
CSS’s bowling attack proved effective, with Andrus Paul taking 3 wickets. Daniel Lorde and Evan St Marthe each claimed 2 wickets, while Jasha Louis and Yorick Joseph contributed 1 wicket apiece.
CSS’s performance solidified their place in the Finals.
