On the sidelines of the 48th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM in Barbados, Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre signed the Protocol to the Treaty Establishing the Regional Security System (RSS) on the addition of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana. This formalizes Saint Lucia’s support for Guyana’s membership in the RSS and reinforces regional security cooperation. The signing took place on February 20, 2025.
