On Wednesday, the Saint Lucia Football Association (SLFA) Inc. Senior Men’s Football competition continued at the Dennery Playing Field.
In an exciting match, Atlantic Ballers FC and Aux Lyon United FC played to a 3-3 draw. Atlantic Ballers’ goals came from Kaylan Harry, who scored twice in the 3rd and 77th minutes, and Claudel Yarde, who found the net in the 44th minute.
For Aux Lyon United, Robert Lawrence scored in the 25th and 55th minutes, while Nielbert Jn. Louis added another goal in the 67th minute.
Meanwhile, the SLFA Inc. Senior Women’s competition took place on Monday, December 2, at the Dennery Playing Field. Canaries dominated Anse La Raye with a decisive 10-0 victory, having already led 6-0 at halftime.
The goal scorers for Canaries included Theona Auguste, who scored four times in the 24th, 34th, 45th, and 56th minutes. Kylah Solomon contributed with a hat-trick, scoring in the 2nd, 43rd, and 67th minutes. Cassandra Shepherd netted a goal in the 6th minute, Harmanie Jones scored in the 11th minute, and Tiffany Allain added another in the 52nd minute.
In another match, Desruisseaux narrowly defeated Dennery 1-0, with Merliz Samuel scoring the only goal in the 1st minute.
