The Major Crimes Unit of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has arrested a ninth suspect in the murder of eighteen-year-old Charles Isiah Luke Victor, of Mon Repos, Micoud.
On Saturday, March 2, 2024, Police Officers attached to the Vieux-Fort Police Station apprehended one male, twenty-nine-year-old Ivanus Sylvester alias “Colta” of Bruceville, Vieux-Fort, on suspicion of murder.
On Monday, March 4, 2024 the Major Crimes Unit formally charged Sylvester for the offences of Murder and three counts of Discharging Firearm with Intent to Commit Grievous Harm.
On Monday, February 19, 2024, the Major Crimes Unit charged eight individuals in connection with the death of Victor; for offences including Murder, Discharging Firearm in a Public Place and Grievous Harm.
