On Sunday, February 25, 2024, 2:50 a.m., the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in Castries received a report of a shooting which occurred at Barre Denis, Castries.
The victim was conveyed to the Owen King European Union Hospital (OKEUH) for medical care, nursing apparent gunshot injuries. The victim succumbed to his injuries. The deceased has been identified as twenty-eight-year-old Yannick Charles of Barre Denis, Castries.
One male is in custody as part of this investigation.
