THE Pesticides and Toxic Chemicals Control Board (PTCCB) have agreed to ban all pesticides containing Malathion, Diazinon, Carbaryl and Chlorpyrifos. These substances pose a risk to environmental sustainability and are associated with chronic health issues in humans. Consequently, banning these pesticides is necessary to protect human, plant, animal and environmental health from the effects of toxic chemicals.
Import permits are not being issued for the attached list of pesticides.
