A number of vehicle operators were charged for various offences on Tuesday after the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) conducted an operation in Dennery.

The operation, which was conducted around 10:00 p.m., involved stop and search exercises, traffic checks, and patrols, the RSLPF said this week, noting that “several traffic violations were identified and vehicle operators were charged for the respective offences.”

The following day (about 2:00 a.m.), officers attached to the Northern Division conducted a mobile patrol along the John Compton Highway.

“The officers observed and pursued a group of male individuals near the Castries Fisheries Complex. This resulted in the apprehension of four male suspects, the recovery of one 9mm calibre firearm and 10 rounds of 9 mm ammunition,” the RSLPF said.
