Eighteen-year-old Terry James of Ravine Poisson is the latest homicide victim in Saint Lucia.
According to police, yesterday at about 6:45am officers attached to the Criminal Investigations Department in Castries received and responded to a report of a shooting at Ti Rocher, Castries.
Upon arrival at the scene, the Officers found the motionless body of a male individual lying on his back in supine position with apparent wounds to his head. One spent shell of ammunition was recovered on the scene. The victim was subsequently pronounced dead on the scene by a medical practitioner and later identified as James.
Investigations are ongoing in this matter.
