The Comfort Bay Senior Citizens Home is the recipient of a $1,500.00 cheque donation by the Civil Service Association-(CSA) in observance of Caribbean Public Service and Solidarity Day, observed annually on October 04. The donation was received by the Manager of the institution Ms. Nadia St. Ange who expressed gratitude that the Comfort Bay was considered worthy of such a gesture. “On behalf of management and staff we want to say thanks for remembering us”, said St. Ange.

The Caribbean Public Services Association of which the CSA is an affiliate, has decided to recognize October 04 as Caribbean Public Service and Solidarity Day as a crucial reminder of the indispensable role of Public Officers across the Caribbean region in our development and resilience.

President of the CSA Mr. Cyprian Montroupe says, “As part of the celebration we agreed to select one charity, and so Comfort Bay was selected and so we are here to present $1,500 to assist them in whatever undertaking they are doing on behalf of the elderly in the south”.

The 4th annual Caribbean Public Service and Solidarity Day was observed under the theme, “Celebrating Public Officers in These Challenging Times”.
