ON Sunday July 2, 2023 about 10:00 p.m. During a patrol along the Sarrot, Castries Road, Officers attached to the Traffic Unit stopped and searched a motor car with two occupants.
During the search of the vehicle, Officers discovered one black 9mm Taurus G3XL pistol and 19 rounds of ammunition. The two occupants were later identified as 27 year old, Alan Junior Johnie of Morne Ciseaux, Anse La Raye and 23 year old, Richardson Enolis of Sarrot, Bexon. They were both subsequently arrested and charged for the offences of Possession of Firearm and Possession of Ammunition. They were escorted to the First District Court and granted bail for the Possession of Firearm in the sum of $25,000 cash or suitable surety each. On the Possession of Ammunition, they were granted bail in the sum $25,000 cash each or suitable surety and other court conditions.
