Sunday October 9, 2022, marked the return of Air Canada’s weekly nonstop service from Toronto (YYZ) to Saint Lucia (UVF), an event hailed by the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, which stated that the “service will provide Canadians with more viable options to explore our beautiful island, (as) Canada is one of our main source markets, adding to our growth and tourism product.”
In November 2022, Air Canada will increase its flight frequency to four weekly flights (Mon/Wed/Thurs/Fri) until December 9th. Additional flights will be added to the schedule for the holiday season with (5) weekly flights until December 18th, then increasing to six weekly flights until December 25th.
In January 2023, Air Canada’s winter schedule will include five weekly flights until March 2023, then increase frequency to six weekly flights until April 2023.
With the additional non-stop flights from Air Canada, Saint Lucia will offer Canadians 20 non-stop routes from Toronto Pearson International Airport this fall/winter season.
“At the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, we will continue to drive robust, targeted marketing and public relations efforts in Canada to drive awareness and increase new routes,” noted a spokesperson from the Authority.
