Prolific striker on St Lucia Select (SLS) XI squad – Keegan Caul is among four local players selected to the Free Kick Youth Cup All-Star team.
A total of ten teams participated in the inaugural Free Kick Invitational Youth Cup, which was won by Vincy Ballers (SVG) after beating SLS XI 3-1 in an exciting final played at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground [DSCG], Monday.
Saint Lucia’s two competitors – SLS XI and Vieux Fort South both performed remarkably well to earn the runners-up and 2nd runners-up spots, respectively.
At the post-match presentation following the finals, the following awards were presented:
Top Goal Scorer (Golden Boots) – Keegan Caul – SLS XI [11 goals – two hat-tricks].
Best Goal Keeper (Golden Gloves) – Josh Shaw – Vincy Ballers
MVP Tournament – Bishon Richards – Vincy Ballers (2 goals in the finals for the team victory).
