On Monday, June, 27th 2022, the SLBF bid farewell and good luck to its U23 3×3 Caribbean Games contingent Coach Nye Guard and players Sidney Didier, Cletuson Leon, Kymani Charles and Wezlee Joseph as they traveled to Guadeloupe for the inaugural Caribbean Games scheduled for June 29th to July 3rd, 2022.

A total of twenty-nine (29) countries will be represented by 800 athletes and 200 officials. Saint Lucia 3×3 Men’s team will play their round of group games against regional counterparts; Cuba, Guyana, and host island Guadeloupe in Group A on Friday, July 1, 2022.
SLBF President Leslie Collymore states: We are extremely proud of the work these young athletes have put in over the last four months in preparation of the inaugural Caribbean games. The athletes are physical and mentally ready for the high-level competition they are about to face and believe they will give a very good account of themselves. This, of course, speaks the work our technical team, coaches and players have been putting in, which has resulted in St Lucia’s improved international competitive trajectory.
The games can be viewed on the Panam Sports Channel https://panamsportschannel.org/ and the progress of our team will be highlighted on the Federation’s social media pages.
