I’ve been hearing quite a bit about two young entertainers from the community of Aux- Lyon who were poised to take over the entertainment industry with a superb combo of deejaying and emceeing. Intrigued, I made it my duty to experience the growing phenomenon that is MTJ or Multi-Talented Jugglers. Saint Lucia, they are the real deal! As impressive as their juggling is, they aren’t limiting themselves to just a console and a microphone. Let’s learn a little more about MTJ, but believe me, there is so much more to tell.
Tell the readers who make up the team that we know to be MTJ.
MTJ is made up of 4 members, Entertainment Manager Kurtly Estava , Branding Manager Natoya Popo, Disc Jockey Lane Mathurin and emcee Chris Theodule
How did the two of you get into or fell in love with music?
The love for music has been there for a very long time, it’s like a family tradition, so you can say that we have been around music from birth.
When did MTJ decide to embark into the entertainment industry as a career?
After playing at dennery carnival (when it was still alive) we got a lot of positive feedback from a lot of persons that day, so then we gave it a lot of thought and decided that we should give it a shot and so far it has been nothing short of amazing.
What motivates or drives the two of you to continue to always give 100% at every gig or event?
We believe that once you give 100% customer satisfaction then the customer will always want to work with you in the future, so 100% shellingz is not a choice, it’s GUARANTEED!
In you career what event would you say has been your favorite and which one would you like to do over?
One of our favorite event was Ezra’s birthday bash at verve, the vibes and energy was amazing and we would love to play that event again and again (big up Ezra di fun machine).
Do you all have any inspirations or individuals that you look up to in or out if the industry?
We have quite a lot of individuals in the industry that we look up to locally and internationally, Hollywood Hp, Litchie Sounds, A1 Jugglers, Dj Yellow, Deej Blaze, Dj Outkast just to name a few. We have learnt quite a lot from them by just watching and analyzing.
Apart from deejaying, what else can people point to and say that is MTJ?
Apart from deejaying those who’ve known Mtj from day 1 can point to our graphic designs and say that is MTJ & also a few of the charitable work that we have done.
What is the ultimate goal for the team?
The ultimate goal for MTJ is to become an international emcee and deejay, and we won’t stop at nothing until this has been accomplished!
