The Voice has learned of a possible fatal shooting in the Coolie Town community on Sunday night.

At least four people, including a police officer, were reported to have been injured by a hail of bullets fired by what residents described as a “machine gun.”

In the distance, piercing screams are heard as an individual lies motionless on the ground.

Unrelated to this incident, Gros Islet police were notified of a shooting incident in Gros Islet.

  1. The country is going to the Dogs. We have a new government in place and all I’m hearing is the reds vs the yellow as though the election campaign is still going on. Sweetheart deals taking place, even in the Court House. The P.M. and the Speaker sitting with Comrades for the defense, while in the mean time murderers breaking out of Prison no questions asked or at least we the citizens have no clue of what’s going on while the Tax payers are being left in the dark. Now the ones the Tax payers hired to protect them are being shot to death. PjP we know you’re in hibernation but you have a ‘Deputy’ why don’t you send him with the Chief and come up with a Report; at least he is getting the double salary as deputy:-give us a Report. PjP I pray you get better soon.
