An altercation on Friday afternoon on Trinity Church Road in Castries has left one man fighting for his life at the hospital.
Personnel from the Fire Service Headquarters in Castries were alerted to a physical assault that resulted in one man sustaining stab wounds about his body.
The responding officers found the victim in the presence of bystanders and immediately proceeded to treat the wounds and provide rapid transportation to the hospital.
The victim was handed over to medical personnel at the OKEU Hospital in critical condition.
Investigations by the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force are underway.
