During the period May 22, 2021, to May 23, 2021, a total of 400 COVID-19 tests were conducted at the Ezra Long Laboratory. From these samples, the Ministry of Health and Wellness received confirmation of 15 new cases of COVID-19.
On May 22, 2021: 238 tests conducted with 10 positives, and on May 23, 2021: 162 tests conducted with 5 positives.
Confirmation was also received of the recovery of 49 individuals bringing the total number of active cases in the country to date to 204. Presently, one of the active cases is requiring critical care at the Respiratory Hospital. The new cases bring the total number of cases diagnosed in the country to date to 4960.
