New Traffic measures as Corinth Road Nears Completion

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Ports, Energy and Labour has informed the general public, specifically road users that new traffic control measure, are being instituted along a section of the Corinth Road, to facilitate the completion of a retaining wall, new sidewalks and a minibus lay-by.

Effective Thursday, April 29, the Corinth Road from its intersection with the Castries Gros Islet Highway to M`s Carwash and Garage will remain closed to all motorists from 10 am until 5 pm daily. This temporary measure will remain in effect for one week.

During this time all motorists heading in and out of Corinth will be diverted along the concrete road leading towards Windward Island Gases.

Motorists are also encouraged to use alternative routes where possible. Traffic signs, cones, flaggers and project personnel will be on hand to assist with guidance for public safety.
